This
is a Zinnia from my sons garden. I captured it from a video tape I took
with my 4 year old RCA camcorder. No special steps were taken. The image
was captured at 1500 X 1100 pixels and reduced to this size. I modified
the brightness and contrast to bring out the colors.
These images do not have to be still to be captured. I was holding the
camcorder in my hand, not on a tripod. An image I made with a tripod can

With your video tape images converted to computer files you can share them with friends anywhere in the world. You can put them on postcards, business cards or return address labels.
We can send the images to you at your e-mail address or save them to
CD-ROM. Video tapes won't last forever and the images will degrade with
each succesive copy. Digitally saved images can be copied and viewed
thousands of times without any loss of quality.
We are offering a special until the end of October. $2.00 per video capture. No minimum. Just send a VHS tape with approximate real time counter settings for each image and a description (or leave the tape at the first scene to capture and describe any other scenes you want captured). Include an e-mail address to send the images to. If you want the video tape returned please include an additional $4.00.
